DESCRIPTION:Stop by the Oakshire Public House any time on July 1st and Healthy Moves will receive a dollar for every pint sold! Need more incentive? The Eugene Barnstormers will get you tapping your toes from 6-8 pm and we’ll be running our raffle full of amazing prizes from local venues. Be sure to save the date! All proceeds go to our programming which helps keep Lane County kids moving and active throughout their school day. Due to school budget cuts\, many physical education positions have been eliminated. Healthy Moves trainers work with students and their classroom teachers to demonstrate fitness activities and provide a model for the teacher to use in future PE classes. The name Oakshire embodies the strength of an Oak and the connection between people and place that is a Shire\, an old name for a rural county. Founded in Eugene Oregon in 2006\, Oakshire is privately owned by the family and friends of their company’s founders. We are so grateful for their efforts to support local not for profits! So come on by\, have a pint\, and support Healthy Moves!
