SUMMARY:Summer Sports of All Sorts
DESCRIPTION:Healthy Moves is partnering with the River Road Park and Recreation District this\nsummer to bring Summer Sports of All Sorts\, a summer camp full of fun and movement for\nkids grades 3-5! \nHealthy Moves trainers will teach campers fundamental sport skills and techniques; through\ngames\, drills\, and other fun activities. Camps will meet three days a week; Monday\,\nWednesday\, and Thursday from 9am-12pm. Plan to meet at Shelter 2 and please supply your\ncamper(s) with a water bottle and snack. \nCamp will take place at the River Road Park & Recreation center at 1400 Lake Drive in Eugene\nand you may register by dropping by the center\, calling (541) 461-7777\, or emailing\ndenise@hm4kids.org!

SUMMARY:Grassroots to the Blues - Last Call Karaoke at Falling Sky Brewing House
DESCRIPTION:Come join us Thursday\, July 27th from 7:00 to 10:00pm for a hosted Karaoke competition to be held at Falling Sky Brewpub in Eugene. The event will be hosted by KJ Nutmeg with Caught in the Act Entertainment\, a talented entertainer who loves hosting Karaoke and encouraging people to jump out of their comfort zone and try their hand with the microphone! \n\nThere will be two rounds and 1st round competitors must be signed in before 7:00 pm to be able to compete (registration starts at 6:30pm.) Our three Judges will select the top performances (depending on how many are in the competition) to move on to the 2nd and final round. Participants should have 2 songs prepared for their performance. \n\nEntry fee for the competition will be on a sliding scale so as to not leave out anyone who wishes to participate. The scale will be from $5.00 to $20.00 dollars for each contestant and all entry fee funds are to be donated to Healthy Moves programs. If you’d like to just watch but still participate in the fundraiser\, Falling Sky will be donating a dollar per pint purchased during open hours on the day of the competition. \n\nWinners will receive the following prizes:\n1st Place Winner will win $200 dollars and prizes.\n2nd Place Winner will win $100 dollars and prizes.\n3rd Place Winner will win a gift basket full of prizes. \n\nCome down to Falling Sky Brewpub and support Healthy Moves!\n\nFalling Sky Brewpub\n1334 Oak Alley\n(13th Street and Oak)\nEugene\, OR 97401
