Fall, Fashion & Fitness 2019Join us for our main fundraiser of the year, supporting the success of our programs. Storm Kennedy will emcee our lively event that includes raffles and auctions, hors d’oeuvres and family-style dinner by Lion and Owl, wine and beer, and music by the Town and Country Rhythm Band featuring Peter Giri, Nathan Waddell, and Marc Siegel. The evening will also include our popular children’s fashion show with Peppypotamus supplying the wardrobe, which will be donated to WomenSpace of Eugene. And of course, our dessert auction will wrap up the night! A fun evening to support a truly worthy cause. Check us out here and on social media for more information as we get closer to the event!

This year’s entertainment will feature some of our favorite musicians in the Town and Country Rhythm Band. As it says on his website, “Peter Giri is a gifted songwriter and performer, whether performing solo or with his band. He makes each song, from Dylan to Little Feat to Hendrix and more, his own, with variations of rhythm, vocals, and melody that bring them new life.” An original member of The Shedd Institute’s Emerald City Jazz Kings, “Nathan Waddell received both his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at the University of Oregon. Apart from his involvement with the Eugene Symphony, Eugene Opera, and other classical ensembles, Waddell also works extensively as a club musician playing Jazz, R&B, Blues, Salsa and Rock ’n Roll.” And as Ed Ragozzino put it, Marc Siegel “… is a total performer, quadruple threat, with a wild hair for comedy. He taps, he scats, he dances with the audience.” Needless to say, this is a trio you don’t want to miss!
