Denise Thomas

CEO/Director

Denise is the owner of Let’s Move Fitness and earned a bachelor’s degree in dance from the University of Oregon. After college, she studied dance in New York at the Alvin Ailey Dance School and Steps on Broadway and taught aerobics at Molly Fox Studio and at Crunch. She pioneered Double Funk, a cardio-intense workout set to funk music, and she is currently a fitness instructor and a practitioner of the Alexander Technique.

Marc Seigel

Board Member, Grant Writer, Trainer

Marc has an MA in Dance, is a performer with many professional companies in dance, music, acting and choreography, is a teacher of dance for more than 30 years, and he’s an avid rock climber. He wears many hats at Healthy Moves. Aside from being the past board president, he is also responsible for grant writing and training.

Lucas Jackson

Board Member

Lucas is a substitute teacher in Lane County and an exercise activist.

Jan Griffin

Board President

Prior to retiring the end of 2022, Jan was Chief Experience Officer at Northwest Community Credit Union and worked for them for 40 years. Coaching, training, inspiring and mentoring others were just a few of the highlights of her career.

Kallen Korin

Board Member

Kallen Korin is a retired lactation consultant, childbirth educator and nurse whose most important job at the moment is grandmother.

Alexandra Curtis

Board Member

Alexandra is a RIE Associate and the Training Coordinator for Lane County’s Quality Care Connections, Oregon’s Child Care Resource and Referral agency. Alex is a Master Trainer with the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education.

Corbin Ross

Board Member

Corbin drives positive community change with degrees in Health Education and Educational Administration with over a decade of experience in health and wellness. His expertise in fitness and health education empowers youth to embrace lifelong healthy habits.

Program Evaluator, Grant Writer and Owner/Founder of Aim to Play LLC

As the program evaluator for Healthy Moves, Jeanette worked closely with our team to track how Healthy Moves programs are making a difference. Together, we’ve seen encouraging improvements in children’s physical activity, fitness, and overall well-being. By using a mix of evaluation tools, Jeanette has helped Healthy Moves better understand what’s working, where to grow, and how to keep strengthening their efforts to support kids' physical activity participation and healthy development.

Lynette Williams

Lynette Williams

Office Administrator

Lynette is the Healthy Moves office administrator. She has been working with nonprofit organizations for over 25 years as a tax-exempt organizations paralegal specialist, office manager and bookkeeper. She received her paralegal certification from San Jose State University and her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Oregon in 1996. Lynette and her husband, Ron have been married 48 years and have been part of the Eugene community since 1989.

Vickie comes to Healthy Moves with over four decades of marketing, digital graphic design, social media and non-profit management experience. She created one of the largest and longest lasting fiberglass public art events in Oregon, directed communications for PBS and marketed the resort community of Sunriver until Covid hit in 2021 when she moved to Eugene. She is now semi-retired and enjoys whitewater rafting, skiing, backpacking, travel and spending time with her family.

Community Advisor

Sally grew up in Eugene graduating from the University of Oregon. Her background includes classroom health, athletic training and massage. Her competitive sports were gymnastics and ultimate frisbee. She’s coached for years and is a substitute trainer for HM. Today Sally enjoys the great outdoors cycling, fishing, and home projects. She loves time with her family and as a community volunteer.
